Placements24 is seeking an HR Operations Specialist in Rustenburg, North West. The role focuses on day-to-day HR operations, HRIS data integrity, onboarding, and benefits administration to support the HR team and management.

You will ensure compliance with South African labor laws, maintain accurate records, and generate key HR reports. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities for professional development within a respected organization.

Qualifications

• A National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, administration, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., SAP HR, Oracle HCM, Sage HR) and MS Office Suite.
• Thorough understanding of South African labor law and HR best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
• Previous experience working in Rustenburg, North West or a similar industrial environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Process new hire onboarding, including documentation, system entry, and orientation scheduling.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
• Support payroll processing by providing accurate employee data and changes.
• Assist in the administration of performance management processes and talent development initiatives.
• Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
• Generate regular HR reports on key metrics such as headcount, turnover, and absenteeism.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and company policies.
• Support HR projects and initiatives as required.
• Maintain organized HR filing systems, both electronic and physical.
