Placements24 is seeking a skilled HR Operations Specialist in Mossel Bay to manage payroll and benefits administration. You will ensure accurate processing and compliance with SA regulations while supporting employees and management from a hybrid work setting.

The role requires a diploma or degree in HR/Accounting and at least 3 years’ experience with payroll systems and benefits. Collaboration with external providers and HR teams is essential for smooth operations.

Qualificações

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in payroll administration and benefits management.
• Solid knowledge of South African payroll regulations and practices.
• Proficiency with payroll software (Sage, Pastel Payroll) and HRIS systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Administer payroll processing accurately, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Manage employee benefits programs (medical aid, provident fund and other benefits).
• Serve as primary contact for payroll and benefits inquiries.
• Ensure accuracy of employee data in HRIS and payroll systems.
• Liaise with external payroll providers and benefit administrators as required.
• Assist with reconciliation of payroll and benefit accounts.
• Prepare regular reports on payroll and benefits data for management.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll and benefits legislation.
• Support HR team with other operational tasks and projects.
