About the Role

Our client is looking for a versatile and proactive HR Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support across all functions. This role, based in Pretoria, Gauteng, ZA , will be essential in managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth employee experiences, and contributing to the development of HR strategies. You will be involved in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding.
• Support managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs.
• Oversee employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Assist in the performance management process, including goal setting and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with South African labor laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, such as policy development and system implementation.
• Organize and facilitate employee training and development programs.
• Promote a positive work environment and contribute to employee engagement efforts in Pretoria .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
• Solid understanding of all core HR functions, including recruitment, ER, compensation, and benefits.
• Knowledge of South African labor law (BCEA, LRA, EEA).
