Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years' experience as an HR Generalist with emphasis on employee relations and HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour law (BCEA, LRA, EEA) and related legislation.
• Experience with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
• Proven ability to handle disciplinary hearings, grievances, and CCMA disputes.

About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal , is seeking a highly competent Senior HR Generalist to join their dedicated HR team. This role is crucial for providing comprehensive HR support across the organization, focusing on employee relations, talent management, HR policy implementation, and operational HR functions. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-oriented HR professional with a strong understanding of South African labor law and a proven ability to manage diverse HR challenges. This is an on-site position that requires active engagement with employees and management at our Durban facility. You will be instrumental in ensuring a fair, consistent, and productive work environment, contributing significantly to the company's employee experience and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and grievance handling, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.

Requirements
