Placements24 is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor to lead the front desk team at our Port Elizabeth location. You will ensure smooth check-ins/check-outs and provide a welcoming, efficient guest experience on-site.

Ideal candidates will have prior front desk or guest services supervisory experience, strong hotel operations knowledge, and excellent communication and leadership skills to drive guest satisfaction and service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role, with supervisory experience highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and reservation systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service at all times within the Port Elizabeth location.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes.
• Train, mentor, and motivate front desk staff to provide outstanding guest service.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to guest satisfaction.
• Manage room inventory and availability, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance departments.
• Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and consistency.
• Assist in developing and executing strategies to improve guest satisfaction scores and loyalty.
