Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an energetic Front Desk Supervisor in Port Elizabeth to lead the reception team and ensure smooth check-in/check-out, greet guests, and manage guest inquiries with a welcoming spirit.

You will supervise front desk staff, coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, handle reservations, and uphold service standards to protect the hotel's reputation and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in front desk or supervisory role in hospitality.
• Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Based in or able to commute reliably to Port Elizabeth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-in and check-out.
• Supervise, train, and motivate front desk agents.
• Manage guest reservations, room assignments, and special requests.
• Handle guest complaints professionally.
• Ensure accuracy of billing and cash handling.
• Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready.
