Job summary

Cashbuild is seeking a General Assistant to provide in-store customer service, merchandise stock, label prices, and maintain cleanliness in the assigned area. The role requires clear communication, basic numerical skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, resolving queries, ensuring planogram compliance, and maintaining a safe shopping area in line with store procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English and the dominant local language.
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Must be able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive customer service in-store and assist customers with queries.
• Merchandise stock and ensure shelf price labelling and housekeeping.
• Ensure area is fully merchandised according to store layout and planograms.
• Report discrepancies to Store Manager and maintain safety in the area.
