Job summary

Cashbuild Limited is seeking a General Assistant for external applications only to ensure comprehensive customer service in-store and contribute to merchandising, price labelling and housekeeping within the designated area.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, resolving complaints, merchandizing stock according to the store layout plan, maintaining safe aisles and accurate price labelling, and complying with OHSA safety requirements in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus and ability to assist customers
• Merchandising and stock presentation following store planogram
• Clear English communication with customers and team
• Ability to perform basic calculations and handle cash/transactions

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist Customers on correct products and queries
• Assist with and resolve Customer complaints
• Bulk stock area to be merchandised safely and according to store layout plan
• Ensure area is fully merchandised according to store layout and planograms
• Ensure area is free of obstacles and customers can enter/exit safely
• Ensure correct shelf price labelling within area of responsibility
• Complete duty checklists as required when on duty with canteen and sanitation schedule
• Maintain OHSA safety compliance within area of responsibility
