Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Remote Operations Specialist to join a fully remote e-commerce team. You will lead a geographically dispersed group of remote operations professionals, optimize order processing, fulfillment, and customer service workflows, and drive continuous improvement across the operation.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in business or operations, at least four years of operations management experience, and strong leadership skills for remote teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in operations management, preferably in e-commerce/online retail.
• Proven experience leading remote teams and managing operational processes.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, order fulfillment, and customer service operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of remote operations specialists, providing guidance and support.
• Oversee and optimize critical e-commerce operational workflows, including order processing, fulfillment coordination, and customer service operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce errors, and improve turnaround times.
• Monitor KPIs related to operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with technology and customer experience teams to ensure seamless integration of operational processes.
• Train and onboard new remote team members, ensuring adherence to company standards.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of operational procedures and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the remote operations team.
• Contribute to strategic planning for operational scalability and growth.
