About the Role

Our client, a renowned hotel in **Kimberley**, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to oversee all aspects of their dining outlets, bars, and banqueting operations. This crucial role involves driving service excellence, managing costs, and ensuring profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of culinary trends, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences within the **Northern Cape**. You will lead a diverse team of F&B professionals dedicated to delivering superior service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of all hotel food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquets.
• Develop and implement innovative menus and beverage programs in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
• Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and service delivery.
• Manage departmental budgets, P&L statements, and forecasts, ensuring profitability and cost control.
• Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team to achieve operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and supplier relations to optimize costs and ensure quality.
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards in all F&B operations.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive revenue and attract guests to dining outlets.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any F&B-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Food and Beverage management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record in managing restaurant, bar, and banqueting operations.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, P&L analysis, and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of culinary trends, wine, and spirits.
• Proficiency in F&B management software and MS Office Suite.
• A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is highly desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, in **Kimberley**.
