Placements24 on behalf of a premier hotel in Upington, Northern Cape, seeks an experienced Food and Beverage Director. This leadership role oversees all F&B operations across restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service, with a focus on culinary excellence and guest satisfaction.

You will lead a diverse team, develop menus, manage inventory and costs, ensure health and safety compliance, and drive profitability through strategic planning and revenue initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage management.
• Proven track record managing multiple F&B outlets and driving revenue.
• Strong culinary knowledge and menu costing.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of inventory control, purchasing, and cost management.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems and F&B software.
• Certification in Food Safety and Hygiene.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in the Northern Cape region is advantageous but not required.

About the Role

Our client, a premier hotel located in the heart of Upington, Northern Cape , is seeking an experienced and innovative Food and Beverage Director. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage operations, including multiple restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service. The successful candidate will be passionate about culinary excellence, exceptional service, and driving profitability within the F&B department. You will lead a diverse team, develop exciting menus, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with all health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily F&B operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and exceptional guest service.
• Develop and manage menus, pricing strategies, and special promotions for all F&B outlets.
