• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce operations management or a similar role.
• Proven experience in managing online order fulfillment, warehousing, and logistics.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento) and associated technologies.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and experience with operational reporting.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be based in or willing to commute to Randburg, Gauteng.
• Experience with IMS and WMS is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the e-commerce operations, including website management, order processing, inventory control, and fulfillment.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, shipping carriers, and other operational vendors.
• Lead and develop a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Implement and refine operational processes to enhance order accuracy, reduce delivery times, and minimize costs.
• Monitor website performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with IT teams for resolutions.
• Ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained and manage stock replenishment strategies.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the online customer service experience and resolve escalated issues promptly.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including data privacy and consumer protection laws.
• Stay updated on e-commerce trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
