Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Banqueting and Events Coordinator in Rustenburg, North West, to manage all logistics for banqueting and events from inquiry to post-event follow-up.

The role requires coordinating room setups, catering, AV, staffing, timelines, budgets, and client communications to ensure flawless execution and memorable experiences for clients in the Rustenburg area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in event coordination or hospitality management.
• Ability to handle multiple events with precision.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients booking banqueting and event spaces.
• Coordinate all event details, including room setup, catering arrangements, AV requirements, and staffing schedules.
• Develop event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Conduct site visits with prospective clients and provide detailed information about the venue and services.
• Prepare and present event proposals, contracts, and invoices.
• Liaise with the catering team, banqueting staff, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
• Manage event budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
• Address client needs and resolve issues during events promptly and professionally.
• Conduct post-event debriefs with clients and internal teams to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate event records and client databases.
