Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Banqueting and Events Coordinator for a prestigious hotel and conference venue in Stellenbosch, Western Cape. You will manage all banquets, conferences, weddings and special events from inquiry through post-event follow-up, coordinating with culinary, A/V, front office and sales teams to ensure flawless delivery.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in event planning, banqueting coordination, or similar role within hospitality.
• Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate all banquet, conference, wedding and event activities from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
• Develop event proposals, menus and floor plans aligned with client needs and budgets.
• Coordinate with culinary, A/V, front office and sales teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Oversee on-site event execution, manage budgets and maintain event records.
• Communicate with clients as main point of contact and provide expert guidance.
