Placements24 is seeking a Catering Coordinator to manage seamless catering services in Rustenburg, coordinating with clients, kitchen staff, and service teams. You will develop event orders, oversee schedules, and ensure impeccable setup and service across multiple events in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in event planning, hospitality coordination, or a similar role.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Superb communication and interpersonal abilities, with a client-focused attitude.
• Proficiency in using event management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously in a demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their catering needs and event details.
• Develop detailed event orders, including menu selections, timelines, staffing requirements, and special instructions.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of catering services.
• Manage event schedules, ensuring all activities are performed according to plan and client specifications.
• Address and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly and professionally during events.
• Oversee the setup and breakdown of catering areas, ensuring presentation and cleanliness standards are met.
