Placements24 is recruiting a Banqueting Coordinator for a prominent hotel and event venue in Bloemfontein. The role focuses on planning and executing banqueting events, including conferences, weddings, and private functions.

You will be the primary client contact during planning, translating needs into flawless event execution and coordinating with Kitchen, F&B, Housekeeping and AV teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in event coordination or banqueting in hospitality.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle priorities.
• Excellent communication and client-focused approach.
• Proficient in MS Office and event management software.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends per event schedule.
• Experience in Free State hospitality market is an advantage.
• Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Event Management preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as main client contact throughout banqueting planning.
• Coordinate all aspects of events from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
• Prepare BEOs and distribute to Kitchen, F&B, Housekeeping, AV.
• Liaise with culinary and F&B teams on menus and service requirements.
• Conduct venue tours and consultations with prospective clients in Bloemfontein.
• Manage event timelines and ensure smooth transitions between phases.
• Address client concerns promptly during planning and execution.
