Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor in Soweto to be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for maintenance and repair. You will greet customers, listen to concerns, record issues, and communicate with workshop staff to ensure accurate service delivery.

The role requires strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a good understanding of automotive services.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of automotive terminology, services, and basic mechanical principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and handle inquiries professionally.
• Proficiency in using dealership management systems (DMS) or similar software is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering excellent service.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers upon arrival and assist with vehicle service needs.
• Listen to concerns and diagnose reported issues.
• Inspect vehicles with customers and explain additional service requirements.
• Prepare detailed repair orders documenting requested services.
• Communicate with technicians to ensure clear repair instructions.
• Provide customers with accurate service estimates and timelines.
• Manage expectations and ensure timely service completion.
• Follow up to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized service reception area in Soweto.
• Upsell relevant services and products where appropriate.
