Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Automotive Service Advisor for our esteemed dealership in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will be the primary contact for customers bringing vehicles for maintenance and repairs, documenting needs accurately and communicating with service technicians throughout the process.

You should excel in customer service, have a solid grasp of automotive terminology, and be proficient with DMS systems. A friendly, organized approach and team spirit are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience as Automotive Service Advisor or similar customer-facing role.
• Strong understanding of automotive terminology, vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to explain technical info to non-technical customers.
• Proficient with dealership management systems (DMS) and standard office software.
• Customer-centric mindset with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Residency in or willingness to commute to Tembisa, Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and listen to their concerns.
• Accurately document service requests for the technical team.
• Inspect vehicles with customers to identify maintenance needs.
• Provide accurate estimates for services and repairs.
