As a Security Officer - Education Site - Morning Shift in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more.

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an educational environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to support a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
• Report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with campus staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related issues and maintain open communication.
• Assist with crowd control during campus events and help to enforce site-specific policies and procedures.

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
