Bon Secours Health System is seeking an X-Ray Technician to perform digital radiographic studies under provider orders within a multi-skilled clinical team. The role requires careful patient positioning, safety protocols, and accurate EMR documentation in a busy urgent care setting.

The position emphasizes ARRT certification, state licensure (preferred), and BLS readiness, with potential travel to off-site facilities to support providers and flexible hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification and Registration with ARRT (required)
• State Licensure (preferred)
• BLS from American Heart Association (required)
• Associate’s degree in radiologic technology (ARRT accredited, preferred)

Responsibilities

• Safely performs provider-ordered radiographic examinations with proper patient positioning and protection.
• Sets up immobilization equipment and ensures patient safety.
• Documents patient encounters in EMR accurately.
• Selects proper exposure factors to safeguard patient and equipment.
• May travel to off-site facilities to meet patient care needs and adjust hours as directed.
