Job summary

Bon Secours seeks an X-Ray Technician to perform digital radiographic studies following provider orders. The role requires accurate documentation in EMR, proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume setting.

The technician will maintain equipment, participate in lab testing as needed, and travel to off-site facilities to support Bon Secours providers. ARRT certification is required; state licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification and Registration with ARRT (required)
• State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state)
• BLS from American Heart Association (required)
• Associate degree from ARRT-accredited program (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Safely performs provider-ordered radiographic examinations with proper patient positioning and radiation safety.
• Documents patient encounters in EMR accurately.
• Selects appropriate electronic and technical factors to safeguard patient and equipment.
• Travel to other facilities and adjust hours to meet patient care needs as directed by the manager.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control; assist with labs and diagnostics as needed.
