Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an X-Ray Technician to perform digital radiographic studies per provider orders. The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure in applicable states, and BLS.

You will ensure proper positioning, safety protocols, and accurate EMR documentation while supporting travel to additional facilities as needed. Ideal candidates have 1 year of radiology experience and familiarity with EPIC EHR and PACS systems.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and registration required
• State licensure preferred (required in VA)
• BLS certification required or preferred at hire
• Associate's degree from ARRT-accredited program preferred
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care preferred
• Experience with Radiology Information System preferred
• Training in EPIC EHR and PACS preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely perform provider-ordered radiographic examinations with proper patient positioning and radiation protection
• Set up and adjust equipment, position patients, and ensure safety and professionalism
• Document patient encounters in EMR accurately
• Select proper technical factors for patient and equipment safety
• Travel to off-site facilities as needed and adapt to patient care needs
