Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an X-ray Technician to perform digital radiographic studies and support patient care under provider supervision. Qualifications

• Requires ARRT certification and state licensure per location (preferred/required)
• BLS certification (preferred upon hire, must obtain before direct patient care)
• Associate's degree from ARRT-accredited program (preferred)
• Experience with radiology information systems and EMR is preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely performs provider-ordered radiographic exams with proper patient positioning and radiation protection
• Documents patient encounters in EMR
• Sets up and adjusts immobilization equipment per case
• Maintains safety of patient, x-ray tube and equipment; communicates equipment needs to supervisor
• Travels to other facilities as needed and performs scribing duties as required
