Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an X-Ray Technician to perform provider-ordered radiographic studies and support patient care in a high-volume setting. You will position patients, operate imaging equipment, and document encounters in the EMR under provider supervision.

Minimum ARRT certification and Virginia state licensure are preferred; BLS is recommended. The role includes travel to other facilities to meet patient care needs and maintain operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required or eligible.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EHR, PACS or RIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform provider-ordered radiographic examinations with proper patient positioning and safety measures.
• Document patient encounters in the EMR accurately.
• Maintain equipment and ensure radiation safety and protection.
• Travel to other facilities as needed to support providers.
