Job summary

Smith Nephew is seeking an Account Manager for Extended Care to drive wound care product penetration in nursing homes, long-term care facilities and specialty pharmacies across the territory. You will educate clinicians on clinical benefits and lead presentations to influential customer groups, building lasting relationships with decision-makers.

You will manage a territory, exceed quotas, and participate in a formal credentialing process for healthcare facility access as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years B2B, direct selling or medical sales experience, preferably within nursing home or long term care setting.
• Professional training program experience (i.e., Challenger Selling).

Responsibilities

• Generate territory plan of action to attain and achieve territory sales goals.
• Educate end users on the clinical benefits of Smith & Nephew products.
• Deliver sales presentations to key customers and groups; conduct product lunches and dinners for identified customer groups.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers and thought leaders.
