Job summary

Smith Nephew is seeking an Account Manager, Extended Care in the Chicago area to drive growth in nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and specialty pharmacies. You will call on customers to promote Santyl, Regranex, and other wound care products, while educating on clinical benefits and managing multiple touchpoints.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 2 years in medical sales or B2B selling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Minimum 2 years in B2B, direct selling or medical sales, preferably in nursing home/long-term care.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Proven ability to present concepts and recommendations to customers in formal and informal settings.
• Strong analytical skills including pipeline and territory analysis and management.

Responsibilities

• Generate territory plan to attain and exceed sales goals.
• Educate end users on clinical benefits of Smith & Nephew products.
• Deliver sales presentations to key customers and groups; conduct product lunches/dinners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
