Job summary

Compass in Los Angeles is seeking a Workplace Operations & Facilities Lead to oversee all office environments, manage budgets, vendor relationships and cross-functional support for agents and staff. The role focuses on ensuring a world-class workspace through efficient facilities management and strong operations leadership.

The position is 100% onsite with travel up to 25–30% and requires lifting up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace ops or facilities leadership.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with partners and property managers.

Responsibilities

• Resolve vendor repair and maintenance facilities issues.
• Coordinate with Property Managers and Landlords for repairs.
• Manage utility accounts and quarterly reporting.
• Lead Keycard inventory and security support (cameras, access control).
• Oversee copier/postage fleet leases, invoicing, renewals, and escalations.
• Ensure invoice compliance via PO creation and credit card reconciliation.
• Maintain vendor data, fixed expenses and contracts.
• Approve high-value punchout orders per policy.
• Collaborate with regional teams to onboard office leaders and train on processes.
• Support vendor onboarding with AP and resolve disputes.
