Job summary

Compass is seeking a Workplace Operations & Facilities Lead in New York to ensure operational excellence across local office environments. You will manage vendors, budgets, and logistics, enabling teams and agents to perform at a high level.

The role is 100% onsite with travel 25%–30% as needed. Experience in enterprise systems and a focus on creating a world-class workspace are highly valued. Base pay ranges from $65,000 to $81,300 with eligible benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in workplace operations, facilities management, or a high-level hospitality/operations role.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for facilities issues.
• Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized, especially regarding data and vendor management.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for partnering with regional leaders and external property managers.

Responsibilities

• Resolve vendor repair and maintenance facilities issues.
• Communicate with Property Managers and Landlords for repairs.
• Manage utility accounts and quarterly reporting.
• Lead Keycard Inventory Management and security support (camera data & access control).
• Oversee copier/postage fleet leases, invoicing, end-of-lease obligations and expense reporting.
