Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Workspace Customer Engineer I, New Business, to partner with Sales and serve as the primary technical advisor for customers. You will troubleshoot, run proofs-of-concept, and architect cross-pillar cloud solutions using Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise to automate complex workflows.

Strong presentation and collaboration with business leaders are essential. Responsibilities include identifying technical objections, guiding engineering teams, and helping customers

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience with cloud native architecture in customer-facing or support roles.
• Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
• Experience engaging with or presenting to technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
• Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify business opportunities and technical blockers with customers.
• Architect solutions leveraging Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise to automate workflows.
• Educate partners and customers on agentic capabilities and integrations with third-party data.
• Recommend enterprise architectures and infrastructure needed for complete solutions.
• Help partners drive technology direction for Google Workspace solutions.
