Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop is seeking an Assistant Workshop Manager to support the store Manager in daily operations, guest service, and staff management. You will help drive sales and execute marketing strategies while maintaining a positive guest experience.

You will lead shifts, enforce policies, oversee inventory, and contribute to building a high-performing team across a busy retail workshop environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of store management experience
• High school diploma
• Basic understanding in the use of common store technology solutions (POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance)

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily assignments and directing work for associates
• Assist in hiring and promotion decisions and provide feedback
• Lead and inspire the team during shifts and enforce policies
• Drive sales as Floor Leader and create a Guest experience
• Ensure merchandising displays adhere to brand standards
• Oversee inventory management and stock counts
• Develop a high-performing team delivering guest experience
