Job summary

Auburn University Montgomery is seeking a Student Affairs Assistant to support the Division of Student Affairs across Warhawk Alley, the Resources Center, the Career Development Center, and other programs. You will greet visitors, assist with events, help print materials, coordinate logistics, and provide friendly, reliable service to students and guests.

Responsibilities include event management, registration, setup, publicity, and engagement with students, as well as assisting with campus

Responsibilities

  • Support the Division of Student Affairs in various departments and functions, including Warhawk Alley, the Resources Center, the Career Development Center, the Global Education Center, and other Student Affairs programs, events and activities.
  • Engage with students and visitors to locations within Student Affairs, greet visitors upon arrival, answering questions and providing resources as needed
  • Assist with Student Affairs event/program management, including but not limited to: registration, logistics, setup/breakdown, publicity, and engagement with students
  • Attend university-wide programs and events, providing assistance to Student Affairs staff as needed
  • Printing, copying, and/or distributing promotional materials for programs, events, and activities including flyers, posters, postcards, and other materials
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This position may require work outside of university business hours, including nights and weekends.
