Qualifications

  • Ability to provide technical guidance to employees, supervisors, and leadership on workers' compensation requirements.
  • Proficiency in preparing and maintaining case documentation, including action plans and diary dates.
  • Interpretation and application of laws, regulations, and agency policies to support timely case resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage workers' compensation cases with documentation, filing, and maintenance.
  • Monitor case status and update plans of action; ensure FECA/DOL compliance.
  • Provide guidance on workers' compensation rights and responsibilities to staff and ICCs.
  • Assist with claim development, return-to-work considerations, and timely benefit payments.
  • Prepare responses to DOL correspondence, inquiries, and related proceedings.
