Qualifications

  • Experience analyzing and managing federal workers' compensation cases under FECA and related regulations.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance on workers' compensation rights, responsibilities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience preparing and submitting case documentation and responses to legal inquiries or Department of Labor hearings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned workers' compensation cases; collect, file, and maintain documentation.
  • Monitor case status, update plans of action, and ensure FECA/DOL compliance.
  • Serve as a technical resource on workers' compensation for employees, supervisors, and ICCs.
  • Assist with claim development, return-to-work considerations, and timely payment of benefits.
  • Prepare draft responses to Department of Labor correspondence and related legal proceedings.
