Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to lead Workday Payroll design and optimization for U.S. and Canada operations.

You will serve as the primary HRIS partner to Payroll, aligning Workday solutions with business needs and compliance across a complex payroll landscape. Work closely with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, Time Tracking, and IT to translate requirements into scalable configurations, lead testing for semi-annual releases, and drive continuous improvement in payroll

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HRIS experience with hands-on Workday Payroll configuration in complex environments.
• Experience supporting multi-state and multi-country payroll operations; Workday Payroll Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimize Workday Payroll for U.S. and Canada payroll operations.
• Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, and IT to translate business needs into Workday configurations.
• Lead testing, validate changes, and ensure production readiness before deployment.
• Analyze and troubleshoot payroll system issues to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Support payroll-related configuration across Workday modules and reporting.
