Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Payroll HRIS Analyst to design, configure, optimize, and support Workday Payroll for US and Canada.

You will partner with Payroll, HRIS, Benefits, and IT to translate requirements into scalable Workday solutions and ensure compliance across a complex payroll environment. Responsibilities include leading Workday testing, managing system changes, and driving continuous improvement in payroll processes, reporting, and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• 5+ years HRIS experience with hands‑on Workday Payroll configuration in complex payroll environments.
• 5+ years supporting large, multi‑state and/or multi‑country payroll operations. Workday Payroll Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Workday Payroll HRIS SME for US/Canada payroll operations.
• Analyze business requirements and design scalable Workday solutions across payroll modules.
• Lead testing activities for Workday releases and payroll updates, including test scenarios and validation.
• Support configuration across related Workday modules (Benefits, Absence, Compensation).
• Evaluate functionality and best practices to drive process improvements.
