Job summary

Giants Ridge, managed by Guest Services, is seeking a Lead Lift Operator for the winter season to ensure safe, efficient lift operations and exceptional guest service on the slopes.

You will train new operators, provide daily direction, assist with breaks, and set safety standards in a fast-paced mountain environment. This full-time, winter seasonal role averages about 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ year of lift operations experience preferred.
• Must have a strong work ethic and be dependable.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions effectively.
• Must have strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up multiple lifts each day.
• Provide daily on-the-job training to new and returning lift operators.
• Lead Lift Operators in tasks as assigned by management.
• Train and instruct team in opening, on-shift and closing procedures.
• Instruct and assist others in maintenance of lift loading/unloading areas and ramps.
• Monitor guests' use of lifts and enforce tickets.
• Maintain a welcoming environment for staff and guests.
• Follow Giants Ridge policies and safety protocols.
• Document daily inspections of lifts and conveyors.
