Job summary

Giants Ridge, managed by Guest Services, is hiring both full-time and part-time Lift Operators for the 2026-2027 winter season. The Lift Operator role focuses on the safe, efficient operation of ski lifts, assisting guests loading and unloading, and maintaining a welcoming mountain environment.

You will work outdoors in winter weather, communicating clearly with guests and teammates, and following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in all winter weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitors guests’ use of lifts and checks tickets.
• Maintains lift loading/unloading areas, ramps, and mazes.
• Provides a welcoming environment for staff and guests.
• Follows Giants Ridge policies, procedures and safety protocols.
• Conducts daily inspections of lifts, tows and conveyors.
• Instructs guests in proper use of facilities and equipment.
• Assists in evacuation of a disabled lift.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
