Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Lift Operator at Giants Ridge to manage lift operations year-round. You will train Lift Operators, enforce safety protocols, and ensure smooth loading/unloading, guest service, and daily operations under Mountain Management.

The role requires outdoor work in varying weather, strong customer service, and reliable teamwork. It is a full-time, year-round position with day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 1 year of lift operations experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and dependable.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up multiple lifts each day.
• Provide daily on-the-job training to new and returning lift operators.
• Lead Lift Operators in completing tasks as directed by Mountain Management.
• Train staff in opening, on-shift and closing policies and procedures.
• Instruct and assist in maintenance of lift loading/unloading areas and ramps.
• Monitor guests' use of lifts and verify tickets.
