Job summary

Giants Ridge is seeking Lift Operators for the 2026-2027 winter season. You will safely operate ski lifts, assist guests with loading and unloading, and monitor lift areas to ensure smooth guest flow.

We value reliability, strong customer service, and the ability to work outdoors in winter weather. Part-time and full-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a guest-facing role within a resort setting.
Ability to work outdoors in all winter weather conditions.
Flexible availability, including some evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Monitors guests use of lifts, including checking tickets and denying use of lifts.
Maintains lift loading/unloading areas, ramps, lift entrances and mazes to ease guests’ use.
Provides a welcoming environment for all staff and guests.
Follows Giants Ridge policies, procedures and protocols and safety procedures.
Conducts daily inspections of lifts, tows and conveyors and documents them.
Communicates problems to Supervisors and/or lift maintenance personnel.
Instructs participants in the proper use of Giants Ridge facilities and equipment.
Assists in the evacuation of a disabled lift.
Performs other duties as assigned.
