Job summary

Giants Ridge invites applications for a Year-Round Lead Lift Operator. You will work with the Mountain Manager and Director of Mountain Operations to train Lift Operators, provide daily direction, and ensure safety and efficiency on lift operations across seasons.

The role blends winter lift leadership with summer support for mountain biking, while offering a full-time, year-round schedule that may include day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 1 year of lift operations experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lift Operators in completing tasks as directed by Mountain Manager and Lift Maintenance Manager.
• Provide daily on the job training to new and returning lift operators.
• Instruct and enforce opening, on-shift and closing policies and procedures.
• Monitor guests' use of lifts and verify tickets.
• Assist in safety and maintenance of loading/unloading areas.
