Job summary

Winebow, a leading wine and spirits distributor, seeks a driven Sales & Marketing professional for the New York territory. Develops strategic marketing and sales plans, builds relationships with key decision makers, negotiates local purchasing agreements, and delivers timely educational programs.

You will work with the District Manager and Sales Director to drive growth, host tastings and events, coordinate with accounting and customer service, and meet ambitious goals while traveling as

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma.
• Two years marketing or sales experience.
• Restaurant/Wine Shop experience preferred.
• Demonstrated computer knowledge.
• Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Develops an effective marketing and sales strategic plan to maximize wine and spirits distribution.
• Maintains routine contact with key decision makers to build support.
• Negotiate and manage local purchasing agreements and contracts.
• Provides timely educational programs, materials and services.
• Monitors sales growth and market penetration with monthly reporting tools.
• Hosts dinners and pouring events, including tastings.
• Coordinates with accounting to resolve billing issues in the territory.
• Communicates with Customer Service regarding ordering or shipping needs.
• Meets goals and objectives in a timely manner.
• Arrives on time to work, appointments, and meetings.
