Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables’ TOP Wind Service Technicians program offers exclusive safety and technical training through the Global Wind Organization (GWO). Technicians primarily operate at a nearby wind site as part of a service team maintaining turbines and generators, with comprehensive hands-on training provided on hire.

This full-time role reports to the Program Manager and Site Manager, emphasizing safety, reliability, and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships).
• Live within 1 hour commuting distance to job site unless relocating to the area.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
