Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables seeks an entry-level Wind Technician through the TOP Wind Service Technicians program. Technicians will receive exclusive safety and technical training accredited by the Global Wind Organization (GWO) and operate as part of a service team at wind sites near home.

They will perform preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine equipment, with opportunities to grow technical and mechanical skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures
• Will travel up to 25%
• Support customer needs and Sky Climber’s mission
