Sky Climber Renewables is offering the TOP Wind Service Technician Level 1 role, a structured development program designed to train entry-level wind technicians with exclusive safety and technical training under GWO standards. Technicians will work at wind sites close to home as part of a service team ensuring safe and efficient turbine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.
• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades.
• Verify work complies with customer requirements.
• Document all work performed.
• Report policy or procedure violations.
• Submit progress reports.
• Repair or replace parts.
• Possess knowledge about tools and use them safely.
• Occasionally work independently on a component of an equipment maintenance project.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, equipment, or tooling.
• Travel as required (up to 25%).
• Work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments.
• Work at heights and in all weather conditions.
