Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables seeks entry-level Wind Service Technicians for the TOP Wind Service Technician Development Program. Technicians will receive exclusive safety and technical training (GWO) and work at wind sites near home as part of a service team to ensure safe, efficient turbine maintenance.

This full-time role reports to the Program Manager and Site Manager, with comprehensive training provided on hire, including safety, tower, and technical modules.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.
• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades.
• Verify that the work is completed in compliance with customer’s requirements.
• Perform work based on established work procedures.
• Document all work performed.
• Report policy or procedure violation.
• Submit progress reports.
• Repair or replace parts.
• Possess knowledge about specific activity tools and be able to use them safely.
• Occasionally work independently on a component as part of an equipment maintenance project.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, equipment, or tooling.
• Travel as required (up to 25%).
• Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments.
• Ability and willingness to work at heights and in all weather conditions.
• Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
