Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables, in partnership with Vestas Americas, offers the TOP Wind Service Technician development program. This full-time role provides exclusive GWO-accredited training and places you on a service team to perform preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbine equipment.

You will work at a wind site near home, report to program and site managers, travel up to 25%, and grow toward advanced technical roles within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental procedures.
