Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables, in partnership with Vestas Americas, offers a structured TOP Wind Technician development program for entry-level technicians. Technicians receive accredited safety and technical training through GWO and work on wind sites as part of a service team to ensure safe turbine maintenance.

The program leads to growth within our wind field services, with on-site assignments near home, reporting to the Program Manager and Site Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorships)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures
