Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables' TOP Wind Service Technician program offers entry-level wind technician development with exclusive safety and technical training through GWO. Technicians work at wind sites near home, as part of a service team to maintain turbines and generators safely and efficiently.

The program leads to hands-on experience with full training provided on hire, including safety, tower rescue, and mechanical/electrical instruction, while offering a supportive environment and strong

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship)
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR
• Background check and drug screening required
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire
• Associate’s degree or technical experience preferred
• Mechanical/electrical background helpful

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations and maintenance on wind turbine equipment
• Follow established procedures and document work accurately
• Demonstrate safe use of tools and equipment
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery and components
• Adhere to HSE procedures and contribute to safety culture
