Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables in Minnesota offers the TOP Wind Technician Level 1 program in partnership with Vestas Americas. This full-time role provides exclusive GWO safety and technical training and places you at a wind site near home as part of a service team maintaining turbine generators.

You will report to the Program Manager and Site Manager, gain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills, and prepare for certification while embracing safety, teamwork, and reliability as core values.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship).
• Must live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site or plan to relocate.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background, MVR checks and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; climb readiness before hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely.
• Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment.
• Accurately document all work performed.
• Follow Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
