Job summary

Sky Climber Renewables and Vestas Americas offer the TOP Wind Technician Level 1 program, a structured entry path with exclusive safety and technical training at sites near home. You will join a service team maintaining wind turbine equipment, with full-time pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will receive hands-on training, safety certifications, and have the chance to grow in a fast‑paced renewable energy environment while traveling up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Sky Climber does not provide sponsorship)
Live within 1-hour commuting distance to job site unless actively relocating to the area
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Successful completion of a climb preview prior to hire

Responsibilities

Perform basic mechanical installations, maintenance, operations, and upgrades following established procedures
Demonstrate knowledge of tools and use them safely
Dismantle and assemble basic machinery, components, and equipment
Accurately document all work performed
Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures
